Choosing your course
ILEX offers qualifications in law and legal practice at all
levels for personnel working across the legal profession.
Some courses provide unqualified fee earners or paralegals with
knowledge of a particular area of law or legal practice, others
form part of the professional qualification leading to membership
of the Institute, or further training to become an advocate.
It is important that you know what your ambitions are before you
embark on any course, so that you are sure you get the most
value out of your studies. The following table shows you some of
your legal careers options you can pursue by gaining ILEX
qualifications, and what the jobs would entail:
